Coach
Ben joined Crewe Flyers as a swimmer in 2018. Ben took part in the Swim England Young Volunteer Award with the club.
Ben hung up his goggles but decided that he wanted to continue being involved in swimming. Once he turned 16, Ben undertook the Swim England Level 1 Assistant Coach qualification. Once he completed this, Ben became a volunteer coach for the club, supporting other coaches until he was given his own squad.
Ben is currently the lead coach for the Development Squad.
He’s currently studying for A levels at Sixth Form. The time that Ben spent volunteering at the club has helped him to develop lots of skills outside of school work.
